MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514033006 A) filed by Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd.; and Suzuki Motor Corporation, Mie, Japan, on April 3, for 'integrated unit of protector and holder.'

Inventor(s) include Suzuki, Masao; Hattori, Hideki; Ehara, Naoya; Mochizuki, Tamaki; Ikeya, Toshinori; Koori, Yoshinori; and Takayama, Rui.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object is to achieve attachment of a component protecting a wire harness and a component holding a connector to a vehicle at a less number of positions. An integrated unit 20 of a protector and a holder includes a protector 30 and a holder 50. The protector 30 includes a protector body 32 protecting a wire harness, vehicle attachment parts 36 and 38, and counterpart attachment parts 40 and 44. The holder 50 includes a holder body 52 holding a connector and attachment parts 60 and 64 attached to the counter part attachment part."
