MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202518084551 A) filed by Global Life Sciences Solutions Canada Ulc, Vancouver, Canada, on Sept. 5, for 'ionizable lipids for nucleic acid delivery.'
Inventor(s) include Jain, Nikita; Thomas, Anitha; and Brown, Andrew William.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present document describes compounds, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, of a core formula (1) where R1 features an amine group, particularly useful in the formulation of lipid particles including nucleic acid therapeutic agents, or proteins, or both, and for delivery of nucleic acid and protein therapeutics to cells in vivo or ex vivo, including anticancer and vaccine applications."
