MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641048906 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering, Hyderabad, Telangana, on April 17, for 'iot based rotating table.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. G. Divya; and Dr. K. S. V. Phani Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotating table is a mechanical device designed to rotate objects around a central axis, facilitating various industrial and scientific applications. This project explores the design, construction, and operational principles of a rotating table suitable for precision positioning. It employs a motor-driven mechanism capable of achieving adjustable rotational speeds and precise angular control. Features include a stable base, smooth bearing system and compatibility payloads. This abstract provides an overview of the rotating table's technical specifications, operational. The ESP32 connected with Wi-Fi, interface with Firebase for remote control, rotation angles analyzed for monitoring purposes and real-time data logging. Controlling the rotation angle and speed of the table through a mobile or web interface is provided by Firebase. The design has mechanical construction, electrical interfacing, software development for Arduino and ESP32 and integration. This demonstrates the system's reliability and potential for remote control and data logging in IoT applications."
