According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Modern security systems are now essential due to the growing need for smart home solutions. In order to improve home security, this article introduces a novel Internet of Things based smart door lock system that incorporates voice assistant technology. Despite their dependability, traditional locks are vulnerable to physical harm, theft, and unauthorized copying. Current smart locks frequently need to be manually operated using smartphone apps, which can be difficult, particularly for those with disabilities. The suggested solution offers hands-free access, real-time monitoring, and immediate alerts for unwanted access attempts. It does this by enabling homeowners to remotely manage and monitor their locks via voice commands or a smartphone application. For smooth operation and data security, the system makes use of a microcontroller and voice recognition software. According to field studies, there have been notable advancements in user accessibility, security, and convenience; voice commands have made the system easier to use, and the option to tailor access levels has improved security. This study examines the suggested smart door lock's design, system architecture, and performance assessment in order to highlight its potential for enhancing smart home automation and meeting contemporary home security requirements. The system's strong security measures and easily navigable features are what make it innovative."
