MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012915 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'iron nails extraction device.'

Inventor(s) include Manjunath Channappagoudra.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An iron nails extraction device, comprises a cuboidal body 1 attached with a handle 2 gripped by the user for inserting the body 1 in an auxiliary container, multiple pneumatic links 3 for engaging the heads of the iron nails of user-selected size and number, a touch enabled screen 4 accessed by the user for entering commands regarding the size and numbers of nails, plurality of electromagnetic patches 5 for engaging the user-defined number of nails, a camera 6 for capturing multiple images of the links 3, a speaker 7 for notifying the user to move the links out from the auxiliary container, a telescopically operated gripper 8 for removing the inaccurate nail from the links 3, and a robotic arm 9 for shuffling the nails within the container."
