MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073020 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on July 31, for 'laminated battery, battery stack, and laminated battery manufacturing method.'
Inventor(s) include Nagata, Yuka.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a laminated battery. Said laminated battery includes: an electrode body; a side-surface member disposed on a side surface of the electrode body; a laminated sheet that covers the electrode body; and a tab film disposed between the side-surface member and the laminated sheet. The side-surface member and the laminated sheet are welded together via the tab film. The tab film has an inner excess resin section that protrudes from an edge of the side-surface member on the electrode body side."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 11, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/044233.
