MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202417089739 A) filed by Qingdao Keva Formwork Scaffold Co. Ltd., Jiaozhou, China, on Nov. 19, 2024, for 'layer building formwork easy to mount and dismount safely and efficiently.'

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the technical field of building formworks. Specifically disclosed is a layer building formwork easy to mount and dismount safely and efficiently. The formwork comprises an aluminum profile frame and plywood nested at the top of the inner cavity of the aluminum profile frame; corner components are detachably fixed to four corners of the aluminum profile frame, a cylindrical pin extending in the vertical direction is provided at the bottom of each corner component, and the bottom end of the cylindrical pin is of a spherical structure; the bottom end of each column assembly is detachably fixed to the top end of a corresponding steel support; each support seat is slidably mounted in the middle of a corresponding column assembly in the vertical direction, mounting slots are respectively formed in the positions of the top ends of four side walls of the support seat close to the corner, and the spherical structure at the bottom end of each cylindrical pin is snap-fitted into the corresponding mounting slot in the vertical direction; and each locking block is movably sleeved on the lower side of the middle of the corresponding column assembly, and the locking block moves in the horizontal direction relative to the column assembly to lock the corresponding support seat on the column assembly. The problems that a layer building formwork is not easy to mount and dismount safely and efficiently and the use cost is high are well solved."
