MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087332 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'lifting assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A lifting assistive device comprising, a body 1 configured with a couple of C-shaped section 2 to be fixed around a pole, an artificial intelligence based camera 3 seated over the body 1 to detect dimensions of pole, multiple flaps attached with each other through several motorized slider 7 fabricated inside each of the section 2 to move the flaps, a rectangular member attached with first side of body 1 to allow user stand over, a rod 4 attached with body 1 to be pressed by user, several suction cups installed at inner periphery of each section 2 to affix body 1 and pole, a hydraulic pusher 6 installed over body 1 to generate force to move body 1 over pole, a camera 3 mounted on body 1 to capture facial expressions of user and several plates attached with body 1 through a motorized slider 7 to position planks over plates."
