MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058836 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 19, for 'lithium secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Jeong, You Kyeong; Han, Jun Hyeok; Ahn, Kyoung Ho; Oh, Young Ho; and Ko, Yoon Seok.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode, a separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material includes a silicon-based active material, the average particle diameter (D50) of the silicon-based active material is 1 m to 20 m, the non-aqueous electrolyte includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and an additive, the organic solvent includes fluoroethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate in a volume ratio of 5:95 to 25:75, and the additive includes a compound represented by a specific formula."
