MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527077783 A) filed by Klueber Lubrication Muenchen Gmbh & Co. Kg, Muenchen, Germany, on Aug. 14, for 'lubricant and application thereof, and preparation method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A lubricant and an application thereof, and a preparation method. The lubricant comprises: (i) an aromatic ester-based material, having a weight percentage of at least 45 wt% based on the weight of the lubricant; (ii) polyisobutylene, having a weight percentage of 10 wt% to 45 wt% based on the weight of the lubricant; (iii) an antioxidant, comprising a first antioxidant, having a weight percentage of 1 wt% to 15 wt% based on the weight of the lubricant, and a melting point higher than 75 C; and (iv) an extreme pressure anti-wear agent, having a weight percentage not exceeding 4.5 wt% based on the weight of the lubricant. The present invention helps to reduce smoke emissions and alleviate environmental pollution at a lower cost, at the same time as satisfying lubricant main performance indicators."
