MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017928 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'makeup products storage and recommendation device.'
Inventor(s) include Vishnu Prasad Shrivastava.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A makeup products storage and recommendation device, comprises an elongated body 1 attached with a disc 3 for stabilizing the body 1 on a fixed surface, a touch enabled screen 4 to give input commands regarding one of the makeup products required by the user, a motorized circular slider 6 for rotating and positioning the determined chamber in front of the user, a camera 7 for capturing multiple images of the user, an LED (Light Emitting Diode) light 8 to illuminate for aiding the user in accessing the bottle/tube of the product of the determined shade, a speaker 10 for notifying the user to place hands underneath the determined chamber, a proximity sensor for detecting presence of the user's hands underneath the chamber, and a pair of curved-shaped extendable plates 12 to extend in view of enclosing the body 1."
