The apparatus (100) comprises a linking mechanism (114) adapted to operatively connect the handle assembly (102) and the pair of opposing jaws (108). The apparatus (100) comprises a central pivot mechanism (116) adapted to operatively connect synchronize movement between the handle assembly (102) and the pair of opposing jaws (108). The movement of the handle assembly (102) causes synchronized opening and closing of the opposing jaws to grip and release a brick, and wherein the tool is operable manually without any external power source."
