MUMBAI, India, March 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517013756 A) filed by Daikin Industries, Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on Feb. 18, for 'manufacturing method for heat exchanger.'
Inventor(s) include Ichikawa Nobuyasu; Kubo Hironori; Omaki Tatsuya; Kouyama Ryou; and Yabuuchi Fumio.
The application for the patent was published on March 7, under issue no. 10/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a manufacturing method for a heat exchanger (1) that includes a plurality of fins (10) arranged in the thickness direction and a plurality of heat exchanger pipes (30) that pass through the plurality of fins (10), the heat exchanger pipes (30) being made of aluminum. The manufacturing method includes: a connection step for connecting a first opening end (31) of opening ends (31, 32) of each of the heat exchanger pipes (30) protruding from the fins (10), with an aluminum first connecting pipe (41); and a first brazing step for heating the periphery of a first connection section (43) between the first opening end (31) and the first connecting pipe (41) with a movable first burner (61), thereby brazing the first connection section (43)."
