MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013521 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'material transport and dispensing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An material transport and dispensing assistive device comprises of a frame 1 positioned over ground surface by means of a pair of wheel 2 configured beneath said frame 1, platform 3 is arranged over frame 1 and configured with plurality of vertical flaps 4 each attached with side of platform 3 by means of motorized hinge joint 5 to create boundary around platform 3,artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 mounted on the frame 1 for capturing images of surroundings to determines presence of any obstacle, speaker 7 to produce voice notification regrading presence of obstacle, microphone 8 installed over frame 1 to receive user's voice command regrading number of material to be accommodated, Multiple pneumatic plates 9 arranged over platform 3 to extend up to pre-defined distance in order to segregate platform 3 into sections, hydraulic unit 10 installed between frame 1 and platform 3 to tilt platform 3."
