MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517019110 A) filed by Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on March 4, for 'measurement device, control method, and control program.'

Inventor(s) include Nakawaki Nozomi; Kubo Nobuo; Fukuda Yasunori; Kumagai Kazuki; and Higuchi Yuya.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a measurement device, a control method, and a control program with which usability in measurement of biological data can be increased. A measurement device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a control unit (30) that performs measurement using a sensor for acquiring biological data and a nonvolatile memory (14a). Upon receiving an instruction of measurement, the control unit (30) starts the measurement and data deletion in the nonvolatile memory (14a) and, after completion of the data deletion, writes biological data obtained in the measurement to the nonvolatile memory (14a)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/040264.
