MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011181 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'medicine storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tanmoy Parida.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A medicine storage device, comprises of an elongated cuboidal chamber 101 having a plurality of rectangular trays 102, lateral and bottom surfaces of chamber 101 configured with primary drawer mechanisms and trays 102 being configured with secondary drawer mechanisms for enabling adjustment of dimensions of chamber 101 and partitions, a rectangular flap 103 attached by means of hinge 104 for opening or closing of partition, a plurality of suction cups for attaching chamber 101 onto a flat surface, a speaker 105 to generate an audio alert for a user regarding a refilling of the partition, an LED (light emitting diode) to glow red for providing a visual notification to user, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 to determine hand of user approaching a specific partition, a microphone 108 for receiving an audio command from user."
