MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544020232 A) filed by Google Llc, Mountain View, U.S.A., on March 6, for 'metadata-based thumbnail image generation for presentation on a content platform.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems and methods for metadata-based thumbnail image generation for presentation on a content platform are provided. A request initiated by a user to generate a thumbnail image to be associated with a collection of media items stored by a content platform is received. One or more metadata items characterizing one or more expressive aspects associated with the collection of media items is identified. A textual prompt describing the thumbnail image to be generated is generated using the one or more metadata items. An artificial intelligence (AI) generative model is caused to process the textual prompt. One or more outputs from the AI generative model is obtained, the one or more outputs specifying respective one or more thumbnail images."
