MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517094643 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Oct. 1, for 'method and apparatus for adjusting ai/ml model.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to a method and apparatus for adjusting an AI/ML model. The method comprises: a first device sending first information to a second device, wherein the first information comprises information for requesting the adjustment of a first AI/ML model, and/or capability information of a third device; the second device adjusting the first AI/ML model according to the first information, and sending second information, wherein the second information is information of the adjusted first AI/ML model; and the third device receiving the second information, and operating the adjusted first AI/ML model according to the second information. In the embodiments of the present application, when a second device adjusts a first AI/ML model, the actual condition of a device that deploys the first AI/ML model can be taken into consideration, such that an adjustment result can be fitted to software and hardware environments of a third device, and thus the degree of fitting between the AI/ML model and the device that deploys the AI/ML model is raised, and the execution performance of the AI/ML model can be improved."
