According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a method and apparatus for controlling communication of a user equipment (UE). According to the method for controlling communication of a UE provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a first network element may send satellite coverage information to a UE and/or send communication control information to the UE, wherein the satellite coverage information is coverage information of a satellite network in a specified area and is used for setting power-saving parameters and timers related to power-saving management and mobility management, and the communication control information is used for controlling UEs in the same area to perform network communication in a dispersed manner within a preset time range before satellite signal coverage is lost. By means of the present disclosure, a UE can maintain a power-saving state during loss of satellite coverage, and when the UE is about to lose satellite coverage, communication congestion is prevented."
