MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080526 A) filed by Lenovo (BEIJING) Limited, Beijing, on Aug. 25, for 'method and apparatus for generating harq-ack information associated with sidelink transmission for pucch transmission.'

According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a first UE may: receive, from a BS, a DCI format for scheduling a resource or activating a configured grant for transmitting a PSSCH; transmit, to a second UE, the PSSCH based on the DCI format, wherein sidelink HARQ-ACK feedback for the PSSCH is to be transmitted by the second UE in a plurality of candidate PSFCH transmission occasions; detect the sidelink HARQ-ACK feedback for the PSSCH in one or more of the plurality of candidate PSFCH transmission occasions; and determine, based on the detected sidelink HARQ-ACK feedback or an absence of the sidelink HARQ-ACK feedback in the one or more of the plurality of candidate PSFCH transmission occasions, HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the PSSCH to be transmitted to the BS in a first PUCCH transmission occasion of a plurality of PUCCH transmission occasions."
