MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056180 A) filed by Orange, Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France, on June 11, for 'method and device for decoding a bitstream.'
Inventor(s) include Henry, Felix; Clare, Gordon; and Abdoli, Mohsen.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention concerns a method for decoding a bitstream comprising, at a decoding device: obtaining (S33) a decoded neural network from at least one group of a plurality of compressed neural networks, the compressed neural networks of the at least one group being available to the decoding device; and, decoding (S34) the bitstream with the obtained neural network."
