MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054070 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 4, for 'method and device for performing ppdu transmission and reception based on numerology selection in wireless lan system.'

Inventor(s) include Park, Eunsung; Chun, Jinyoung; Choi, Jinsoo; and Lim, Dongguk.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a method and device for performing PPDU transmission and reception based on numerology selection in a wireless LAN system. The method performed by a first STA in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment disclosed herein may comprise the steps of: receiving a PPDU, including information indicating one of multiple bandwidth candidates, from a second STA; and processing the PPDU in the bandwidth indicated by the information. Here, the multiple bandwidth candidates may be defined so as to be composed by applying a first upclocking element to a first bandwidth candidate group, and at least one of the multiple bandwidth candidates may be defined so as to be composed by applying a second upclocking element to a second bandwidth candidate group instead of applying the first upclocking element."
