MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057270 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 14, for 'method and device for transmitting or receiving idc-related information in wireless communication system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate. Specifically, in the present disclosure, a terminal transmits, to a base station, a message for reporting an in-device coexistence (IDC) problem on the basis of IDC configuration information in a dual connectivity (DC) environment, and the message comprises first information on a frequency range related to the IDC problem and second information on time division multiplexing (TDM) related to the IDC problem."
