MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311082459 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany, on Dec. 4, 2023, for 'method and system for activating focus light source to emit focus lights on a user.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system (110) and a method (400) for enabling activation of a focus light source to emit focus lights on a user during an event. The method (400) includes determining (404) a trigger event associated with the vehicle and activating (406) the camera to capture and process images of a target area. The method (400) includes detecting (408) objects and a boundary surrounding the detected objects in the images, where the objects include a user. The method (400) includes comparing (410) metadata associated with the user within the detected boundary with trained user data, and enabling (412) activation of the focus light source to emit focus lights on the user based on the comparison."
