Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Method And System For Auracast Reconnection Optimization' Filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021941 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on March 21, 2024, for 'method and system for auracast reconnection optimization.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods (600) and systems (110) for optimizing a reconnection between an auracast source (100T) and an auracast sink (100S). The method (600) comprises establishing (602), by an auracast assistant (100A), a connection between the auracast source (100T) and the auracast sink (100S). The method (600) further comprises saving (604), by the auracast assistant (100A), authentication information and context information related to the auracast source (100T). Further, the method comprises detecting (606), by the auracast assistant (100A), a presence of the saved auracast source (100T) within a connection range. Subsequently, the method (600) comprises establishing (608) reconnection, by the auracast assistant (100A), to the saved auracast source (100T) using the saved authentication information and the saved context information. The methods (600) and systems (110) save the auracast source information in the auracast assistant (100A) required for reconnecting and save effort, time and power."
