MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133410 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'method and system for enhancing marketing efficiency in life insurance sector.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a well-structured and recapitulatory marketing-management process focusing on the life insurance sector. The process integrates customer analysis, segmentation, product development, test marketing, and marketing-mix optimization with focusing on customer satisfaction and new product development. The process begins with customer analysis based on segmentation, followed by product development and test marketing using quantitative and qualitative measures. Segmentation explains algorithmic classification of customer dataset considering demographic, behavioral & risk profile, geographical and personality trait factors. Further, a comprehensive new product development framework is deployed, incorporating idea screening, iterative prototype design, actuarial economic, financial and economic feasibility study, and controlled test marketing. Feedback from structured test marketing leads to focused marketing strategies. The invention provides an algorithm-based methodology that ensures a feedback-driven, product-market fit and controlled risk marketing management process for the life insurance sector."
