MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621009501 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Maharashtra, on Jan. 30, for 'method and system for high resolution lc-ms/ms based metabolomics profiling of high-grade gliomas.'
Inventor(s) include Verma, Ayushi; and Srivastava, Sanjeeva.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein is a method for identifying dysregulated metabolites using High resolution Liquid chromatography-tandem Mass spectrometry (HR-LC-MS/MS) in different grades of glioma. The method further integrates targeted metabolomics data with advanced machine learning algorithms to identify the dysregulated metabolites. Also provided herein is a method to identify biomarkers from the different metabolites. The biomarkers are used for segregating between individuals with high grade glioma and individuals with low grade glioma and also healthy individuals."
