MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341071329 A) filed by Mercedes-Benz Group Ag, Stuttgart, Germany, on Oct. 19, 2023, for 'method and system for predicting vibration-induced blurring of outside rear view mirrors in vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system and a method for predicting vibration-induced blurring of outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) in vehicles. The present disclosure discloses training a machine learning model based on training data to establish patterns and correlation 10 between the one or more parameters of ORVMs and the vibration-induced blurring. Further, predicting, by the trained machine learning model, the vibration-induced blurring of the given ORVM based on an input data. The present disclosure provides for an efficient way of identifying those points of the outside of a vehicle where the ORVMs may be mounted to minimize the vibration-induced blurring."
