MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547068238 A) filed by Mann+Hummel Ventures Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on July 17, for 'method and system for treating environmental air.'

Inventor(s) include Thebault, Eric; Junginger, Bernd; and Dos Santos Ascensao, Macario Francisco.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An aspect of the disclosure relates to a method of treating environment air including: determining that a route of a demand vehicle overlaps with a geofenced area; determining that there may be an air treatment demand requirement at a demand vehicle; calculating an air treatment demand, which may be an amount to offset net emissions of the demand vehicle, and treating environment air."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/063304.
