MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056561 A) filed by S. C. E. NV, Lichtervelde, Belgium, on June 12, for 'method for assembling a silo with hopper insert.'

Inventor(s) include Vanparys, Andy; and Vanparys, Francky.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current invention relates to a method for assembling a silo with a hopper insert, comprising the steps of: (i.) the vertical construction of one or more cells; (ii.) the positioning of one or more outlets underneath the afore-mentioned cells; and (iii.) the connection of walls of said cells to the corresponding outlets by means of a transition plate, comprising: the connection of said transition plate to an inner wall of the cell, covering corresponding four base angles of said cell at a desired angle a between the wall of the cell and said transition plate; the connection of said transition plate to a lower flange, by means of an auxiliary support piece; the positioning of a flat connection plate to the lower flange; and the connection of the outlet to the lower flange."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 08, 2022, under International application No.PCT/EP2022/084994.
