MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075274 A) filed by Vertify Gmbh, Graz, Austria, on Aug. 7, for 'method for automated generation of eye-movement datasets for training an artificial intelligence to classify digital eye-movement videos.'
Inventor(s) include Salis, Christof.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a generation method for automatically generating eye movement data sets (30) for training an artificial intelligence (100) for classifying digital eye movement videos (110), said method having the following steps: - providing an eye movement model (20) which replicates the biologic relationships between at least one input parameter (22) and eye movements resulting therefrom taking into consideration at least one influencing parameter (24), - specifying at least one influencing parameter (24), which correlates with a medical defect (MD), for the provided eye movement model (20), - specifying at least one input parameter (22), which correlates with an eye movement test, for the provided eye movement model (20), - generating an eye movement data set (30) with the eye movement model (20) on the basis of the specified influencing parameters (22) and the specified input parameters (24), - saving the generated eye movement data set (30) together with the medical defect (MD) of the specified influencing parameter (24) as a label in an eye movement database (40), - repeating the steps of specifying, generating and saving while varying the at least one influencing parameter (24) and/or varying the at least one input parameter (22)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 08, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053138.
