MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527054042 A) filed by Kaeser Kompressoren Se, Coburg, Germany, on June 4, for 'method for controlling a compressor system comprising multiple compressors.'
Inventor(s) include Wagner, Florian; and Sprugel, Tobias.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a method for controlling a compressor system (100) comprising multiple compressors (C1, C2,...) for generating compressed gas, in particular compressed air, for at least one load (200) and to a corresponding control unit (300) and a compressor system (100). The method has the steps of: determining multiple future system states (Stn,m) of the compressor system (100) using a simulation; determining similar system states (Stn,sim) from the quantity of future system states (Stn) determined for a future point in time (tn); reducing the quantity of system states (Stn) determined for a future point in time (tn) by rejecting at least one system state from the quantity of determined similar system states (Stn,sim); determining an optimal compressor operating state combination sequence (CSseqopt) with respect to a quality criterion, which is preferably an energy efficiency criterion; and outputting at least one control command (LC1, LC2, LC1/LC2) which is suitable for producing an operation of the compressors (C1, C2,...) of the compressor system (100) that corresponds to at least one part of the optimal compressor operating state combination sequence (CSseqopt)."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 09, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/081242.
