MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045309 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 10, for 'method for correcting doppler shift information and timing advance information in communication system in non terrestrial network.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting an NTN according to the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: receiving a signal including first satellite information and at least one piece of second satellite information from a first satellite providing a cell in which the terminal is located; on the basis of the first satellite information and the at least one piece of second satellite information determining at least one of timing advance (TA) information and Doppler shift information for each transmission time duration; and transmitting and receiving a signal on the basis of the determined at least one of the timing advance information and the Doppler shift information for each transmission time duration."
