MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080795 A) filed by Nhk Spring Co. Ltd., Kanagawa, Japan, on Aug. 26, for 'method for manufacturing armature, and device for manufacturing armature.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The purpose of the present invention is to improve the manufacturing efficiency of an armature. In this manufacturing method, a stator (10) is manufactured, the stator (10) comprising: a stator core (12) in which a plurality of slots are formed; and a plurality of segment coils (20) with both legs inserted in each slot, the plurality of segment coils (20) overlapping in a plurality of layers in the radial direction of the stator core (12) and being aligned in an annular form. In this manufacturing method, in an assembly step, the plurality of segment coils (20) are overlapped in a plurality of layers using an assembly jig (40) in which a plurality of assembly slots are formed such that the width and/or the length thereof is set greater than that of the plurality of slots formed in the stator core (12). In an insertion step, the plurality of segment coils (20) overlapped in a plurality of layers are inserted into the plurality of slots in the stator core (12)."
