MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517053874 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Management Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan, on June 3, for 'method for manufacturing electrode mixture and method for manufacturing electrode.'
Inventor(s) include Tomita Yosuke; Katou Daisuke; Izumi Reiko; and Yamashita Hiroki.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This method for manufacturing an electrode mixture 1 comprises: forming composite particles 8 by adhering a conductive material 6 to an electrode active material 4; forming a mixture 14 by mixing the composite particles 8 with a grain aggregate 12 of fibrous binders 10; and fibrillation the grain aggregate 12 in the mixture 14 by applying shear force to the grain aggregate 12, whereby an agglomerate 16 is formed in which a plurality of the composite particles 8 are coupled by the fibrous binders 10."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/037541.
