MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547056819 A) filed by Sabic Agri-Nutrients Company, Jubail, Saudi Arabia, on June 13, for 'method for multi-phase preparation of complex mineral fertilizer from phosphate rock and nitric acid.'
Inventor(s) include Al-Rabhi, Mohamed; and Mamedov, Aghaddin.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a fertilizer containing a mixture containing calcium ammonium phosphate (CaNH4PO4), calcium nitrate (Ca(NO3)2), and ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4). Methods of making and using the fertilizer are also disclosed."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 14, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/061496.
