MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414090250 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on Nov. 20, 2024, for 'method for training and applying machine learning models for determining a rotational speed.'
Inventor(s) include Hitzer, Hannes; Kokai, Gabriella; and Spannhake, Stefan.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter relates to a method for training a first machine learning model (210) for use in determining a rotational speed of a component (100) 5 of a technical system based on operating variables of the technical system, wherein the component is set into vibration by a rotational movement during operation of the technical system, wherein training data comprise a selection frequency range in a first sound spectrogram (204) in which at least one order of the rotational speed of the component is to be expected, wherein the first sound spectrogram (204) has 10 been determined based on a first set of sound measurement data (200) which have been recorded by means of a sound sensor (160) arranged on or near the component of the technical system during operation of the technical system."
