MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065668 A) filed by Evonik Operations Gmbh, Essen, Germany, on July 9, for 'method of cooling an electrical equipment system by using a dielectric fluid composition having good heat dissipation over a wide temperature range.'

Inventor(s) include Jovic, Kristina; Wilkens, Roland; and Hilf, Stefan.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a method of cooling an electrical equipment system by using a dielectric fluid composition comprising a base fluid comprising hydrogenated oligomers obtained from the oligomerization of butene. The method according to the invention provides good and consistent heat dissipation of the electrical equipment system over a wide temperature range."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 30, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/083754.
