MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441067807 A) filed by Revio Therapeutics Llp, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Sept. 8, 2024, for 'method of treating muscular dystrophies.'
Inventor(s) include Shridhar Narayanan; and Srinivas Gullapalli.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides an oral dosage form for, and a therapeutically effective dose for the management and/or treatment of muscular dystrophy using Sitagliptin or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, alone or in combination with other therapeutically effective agents."
