MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079740 A) filed by Interdigital Ce Patent Holdings, Sas, Paris, on Aug. 22, for 'methods and apparatuses for hierarchically encoding semantic information associated with a haptic effect.'
Inventor(s) include Lecuyer, Gurvan; Galvane, Quentin; and Guillotel, Philippe.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method is disclosed. Semantic information associated with at least one haptic effect is first obtained (S700).
