MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064534 A) filed by Mayo Foundation For Medical Education And Research, Rochester, U.S.A., on July 7, for 'methods and materials for combining biologics with multiple chelators.'

Inventor(s) include Pandey, Mukesh K.; Bansal, Aditya; Johnson, Geoffrey B.; and Bartlett, David J.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Conjugates that include two or more chelators including functional groups capable of stabilizing a radiometal (e.g., a chelator of a radiotherapy isotope and a chelator of an imaging isotope) covalently attached to one or more binding moieties are provided herein. The conjugates can be used for treating cancer or non-cancer conditions, and can serve as both an imaging and a radiotherapy molecule when the imaging isotope is complexed to the chelator of the imaging isotope and the radiotherapy isotope is complexed to the chelator of the radiotherapy isotope."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 21, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/085553.
