MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517093271 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on Sept. 29, for 'mgo powder, mgo slurry, production methods of those, and method for producing grain-oriented electrical steel sheet.'
Inventor(s) include Yamagata Ryutaro; Takeda Kazutoshi; and Takahashi Takafumi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This MgO powder has an MgO content of 90% or more, the mass of granular particles is 10-85% of the mass of the whole MgO powder, and if Lfave is the average particle diameter of plate-like particles and Lgave is the average particle diameter of the granular particles, Lgave/Lfave is more than 1.00."
The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 10, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/014481.
