MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311080385 A) filed by Indian Council Of Medical Research; and Jss College Of Pharmacy, Jss Academy Of Higher Education & Research, New Delhi, on Nov. 27, 2023, for 'microneedles patch for the treatment of psoriasis.'
Inventor(s) include Swandenahalli, Jyothi Lakshmikanth; Hosahalli, Gangadharappa Veerabhadrappa; Johnson, Asha Puthuvilayil; and Doddaiah, Sunil Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an anti-psoriatic composition comprising: methotrexate at a concentration of 0.1% (w/v); cyclosporine at a concentration of 0.1% (w/v), and a polymer. The present invention relates to an anti-psoriatic device comprising, cubosome in a concentration range of 1.0 and 4.0 %; and a hydrogel in a concentration range of 1.0 and 4.0%. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing an anti-psoriatic device."
