MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547095872 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Oct. 6, for 'mitigating effects of a line reset in a flash memory interface.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An effect of a line reset occurring during a power mode change in a UFS memory system may be mitigated. A UFS memory device may receive a low-power mode request from a host device. The UFS memory device may also receive a reset request. The UFS memory device may enter the low-power mode in response to the low-power mode request. The UFS memory device may provide an indication of an exception event to the host device when the reset request is received and the memory device enters the low-power mode."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/094731.
