MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611008735 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Jan. 28, for 'mobile surgical assistance system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A mobile surgical assistance system comprises a mobile body 101 for omnidirectional mobility, a robotic arm 103 mounted on the body 101 for manipulation and delivery of surgical instruments, a plurality of multi-modal verification nodes arranged on the body 101 to perform triple-verification of surgical instruments, an artificial intelligence processing unit coupled with the multi-modal verification nodes and robotic arm 103 to fuse data from the multi-modal verification nodes, a holographic projection unit 106 mounted on the body 101 to project spatial anatomical models and risk indicators to respond to natural language queries for adaptive procedural guidance."
