MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517085676 A) filed by Lenovo (SINGAPORE) Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on Sept. 9, for 'mobility between wireless communication networks.'

Inventor(s) include Atarius, Roozbeh; and Karampatsis, Dimitrios.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There is further provided a method in a wireless communication device, the method comprising: transmitting, to a first network function, an information element, the information element comprising: a first container comprising a UE STATE INDICATION message; and a second container comprising a PDU session identity. The UE STATE INDICATION message comprises an UPSI list; and an indication for ANDSP support. The information element indicates that a PDU session identified by the PDU session identity is to be transferred from a first mobile communications technology to a second communications technology."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/062715.
