MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517062220 A) filed by Replicate Bioscience, Inc., San Diego, on June 30, for 'modified madariaga viruses, self-replicating rna constructs, and uses thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Nathaniel Stephen; and Miyake-Stoner, Shigeki Joseph.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to the field of molecular virology, including nucleic acid molecules comprising modified viral genomes or self-replicating RNAs, pharmaceutical compositions containing the same, and the use of such nucleic acid molecules and compositions for production of desired products in cell cultures or in a living body. Also provided are methods for eliciting a pharmacodynamic effect in a subject in need thereof, as well as methods for preventing and/or treating various health conditions."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 28, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/081434.
