MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005326 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'modular ambient light illuminating device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular ambient light illuminating device, comprising a cylindrical shaped hollow body 1 configured with a telescopic rod 2 that provides support to body 1 on a fixed surface inside an enclosure, a circular plate 3 is attached with rod 2 for providing stability to body 1 on surface, a high intensity light 4 assembled inside body 1 for illuminating light 4 inside body 1 for providing perfect lighting inside enclosure, a touch interactive display panel 5 for enabling user to input regarding pattern of light 4 illumination, a set of motorized hinge joints 6 for providing movement to a pair of curved members 7, a LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) mapped on plate 3 for detecting intensity of light 4 inside enclosure and an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 8 mounted on plate 3 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing images of surroundings of body 1."
