MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046450 A) filed by Probiusdx Inc., Fremont, U.S.A., on May 14, for 'modular analyte sensing system.'

Inventor(s) include Hui Jeremy; Fischer Sean; Quevy Emmanuel Philippe; Jia Zheng; and Gupta Chaitanya.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A removable cartridge is configured to receive one or more fluid sample for analysis. The cartridge includes multiple sample wells. Each of the sample wells includes a sensor with a first electrode a second electrode and a third electrode. The electrodes are arranged to contact the sample fluid. A base is configured to receive the cartridge. The base is configured to send and receive signals to the cartridge when the cartridge is received by the base. A controller is configured to exchange signals with the first electrode the second electrode and the third electrode. The controller configured to identify each sample well of the cartridge. The controller is configured to determine a status of each sample well of the cartridge. The controller is configured to perform an analysis of a substance within at least one of the sample wells."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/077094.
