MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007486 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'modular barricading device for waterbodies.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular barricading device for waterbodies, comprises of a frame 1 having a pair of poles 2 to installed at different sites of a shore of a waterbody, an inflatable tube 3 connected in between the poles 2 that gets inflated to float on surface of the waterbody, at least four depth measurement sensors 4 integrated on the tube 3 at different points along length of the tube 3 for monitoring depth of the waterbody at the points, a drawer arrangement 5 installed on the tube 3 to extend/retract the tube 3 for orienting the tube 3 as a boundary in between permissible and non-permissible depth of the waterbody for bathing purposes, a pH sensor and conductivity sensor are integrated on the tube 3 for measuring pH level and ionic content in water of the waterbody."
